There will of course be a multitude of liveries .. once I finish the build ![]()
Amazing.
This is what I call Fly by Wire ![]()
Lovely plane!
And a Golden Retriever Airš¤
Friend of mine worked in Aer Lingus at the time these were coming into service. When the first aircraft arrived one of his colleagues asked him what he thought of it. āIāll tell you when they take it out of the boxā, was his reply. ![]()
Looking forward to the release.
Iāve been meaning to ask - whatās the lever in front of the torque levers? The one that looks like itās facing back towards the torque levers.
The ground/Air Power lock
Heard a brilliant quote about the 330 tonight⦠āitās just a truck with a lot of ambitionā ![]()
I remember the Shorts 360 vividly. I always loved the unobstructed views from below that high wing.
My now deceased brother absolutely refused to fly again after his near-death experience in one of them on a passenger flight from Vermont to Florida.
But I too, thought Iād bought the farm on an approach and landing in a severe thunderstorm at Harrisburg International. Iād never before ever experienced such a severe thrashing from turbulence in my many hours of flying from the '60s through today. They were great in calm weather, but absolute monsters in unsettled weather. It must have had something to do with their boxie cross section - probably not unlike a Winnabago in a cross-wind. Definitely recommend keeping oneās seat-belt firmly fastened at all times!
This is AWESOME!!! I have the 330 and 360 by Carenado in P3D, so I have been waiting for them to bring their over, but BlackBox aircraft is just so much more immersive than Carenado. I couldnāt be happier that they are doing this. I will definitely purchase it. LOVE those aircraft.
This makes me a very happy man. Merry Christmas ![]()
Oooh I am so excited! I love these little boxy things. Canāt wait!
Really is an odd looking thing. Itās like if IKEA made aeroplanes, this is how it would end up looking after you put it together at home ![]()
These would be the Boxes your flat pack comes in ![]()
Yes, nice to know that Iām not the only one here lacking in DIY skills! If the instructions span more than one page it gets done my way ![]()
I have the Trislander which is great. Thanks.
Are you intending the Shorts to be of a similar (high) fidelity? Could we even maybe see maintenance and wear and tear featured?
No pressure, just interested ![]()
They will be study level aircraft
Me first minute in this thread, why is everyone talking about the (A)330⦠![]()
