I mean…all 'ya gotta do is smoosh the 330, right! ![]()
who said were we fudging the needles this way ? ![]()
I said the Islander is like this because the virtual cockpit needles don’t read the same as the sim connect variables. I’m just urging you not to do the same on new aircraft.
Just saw this doc and immediately thought of Blackbox for obvious reasons.
I shouldn’t post it in this thread but i haven’t figured out how to use this forum yet, not asking you to make it just appreciating chunky British things and wanted to share ![]()
Can you illustrate which needles you are referring to please ?
I dont recall “cheating” any values (I might be proven wrong) ![]()
The shorts is one thing… now thats just plain and simply crossing that fine white line:nauseated_face:![]()

Love it but not quite for me
The engine cluster is a good starting point that I remember. I’d have to go back over some work to do you a full list. I’m happy to do that if it helps in any way moving forward. Just let me know if it’s something you’d like.
That thing looks fantastic. Just not sure its pretty or ugly.
Been waiting for a TP commercial twin forever, because that’s about as ‘commercial’ as I get. A trio of the Islander, this, and eventually a Dash-8 or ATR and that’s all the aircraft I need non-GA. This is going to be stellar!
the engine cluster simply reads and displays MSFS variables as its supposed to
Have you actually compared the needle readings with the simvars. They do not match.
Values on the right are directly from sim connect. They clearly do not match the vc needles for every single cluster parameter.
If I can ever get started with Blender, stuff like this is very high up on my list. ![]()
erm… Shorts 330! There. Now this post is relevant.
Short…video of a take-off maybe? lol

these things will come
It’s good to read your “voice”! You must be head down and busy!
I’m so looking forward to this next release. Thank you for your popping ‘round and keeping us updated along the way.
Cheers.
Looks great, such a cool aircraft, it is weirdly satisfying to look at!
It would be nice to have the PMS 750 integration (and on the BN2) if the time allows.
