Thanks for the info. It looks like the mouse emulation in the app is not executing the Alt-Right mouse click on your computer to pop out the screens for you. Let me see what could be causing the problem. Also, please make sure you’re not moving the mouse after you click “Analyze”. The app has a one second delay after you click “Analyze” before any of the logic starts.
I’ve added a video about how to use MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager to the documentation. Please go the the code section “How To Use” and you should see a link to download the short mp4 video.
Ok so I redid this and now something new is happening.
I marked the panels as the video shows, then CTRL-L Click to save it then I hit analyze. All is good but it only shows the PFD, it never pops out the PFD and MFD seperately. Then I’m stuck there since it only shows I can place the PFD and both are still in the same big window
Azpilot61, thank you so much for trying again. Looks like something is wonky in how the implementation of mouse emulated action doesn’t work on all computers. The case you have is that it is not separating the PFD/MFD using the mouse click emulation by clicking the magnifying glass icon (the panel’s upper right icon with a plus sign) or the image recognition is not finding the magnifying glass icon to click. I’ve to see is there other ways I can make mouse clicking more accurate.
That is correct, I’m able to click that area each time and it works fine once I get past it.
Thanks for adding the new version to help with ultrawides. Unfortunately, still having issues. Looks like the same problem as azpilot61. The process results in only one panel after analysis.

I’ve released another version 2.02 on MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager. This added a 1 sec delay on mouse movement and mouse clicking when trying to split out the chained panels that you and azpilot61 are having. I hope this works to solve your issue! If not, I will need to go back to the drawing board and redesign another way to automatically pop out the chained panels.
Once again, thank you everyone in the forum for making feedback and helping me test the app. This has been an exciting and sometimes frustrating coding project. Why can’t MS/Asobo just pops out the panel windows on the screen like every other app out there, LOL! Then the pop out app by MilchWueste4495 or my utility will have a much easier time to save and arrange panel screens for the players!
Thanks RoastGnu! Confirm now working with A320 Neo.
It seems there are 2 apps in development here. Seeing as this thread was started by the other version could I suggest you start a new one for your app because it’s beginning to get confusing with 2 very similar tools in the same thread.
As Sling380 suggested , moving MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager tool to a separate thread below:
Thank MilchWueste4495 for sharing his thread with me during this time.
Hi again,
MsfsCommon is now called Simaux (Simulator Auxilarity).
A Github repository is now available for the tool.
I would be happy if you take a look at the new version. Besides bugfixing there were the following new features;
- the positions of the pop out windows are now saved per plane
- balloons with hints are now shown at startup and when executing the functions.
- the positions of the toolbar windows are now also restored correctly
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me
Have fun
Will this work if I use Spacedesk for wireless secondary monitors? Thanks!
I got the app to work with the 172 G1000 but it does not work with the 787.
I get an error message that says make sure that I am in the center of the pop out panel which I am. What can I be doing wrong??

Hallo MilchWueste4495,
danke für den Beitrag.
Momentan habe ich das gleiche Problem, ich kann die Positionen der Pop Out Panels nicht speichern.
Da wäre dein tool perfekt!
Wo kann man dieses tool finden?
Grüße

Hello MilchWueste4495,
I have the same problem, I cannot save the positions of my pop out panels.
Your tool sounds perfect!
Where can I find / download the tool?

Get MSFS Pop Out Manager, works great and also has touch screen functionality if required.
Hi SkypilotYTS,
I know the popout panel manager, but it doesn`t work very good for me.
It comes the problem “unable to pop out…”
I want it to use for the PMDG737.
In case of the problem with the pop out panel manager, I am searching an alternative and found this topic here.
Or does anyone know how can I solve the problem with the pop out panel manager?
Thanks
Do you have the latest version for SU12?
Works fine for me.
I don`t know…I have to look…
Do you now the number of the actual version?
Do you also use it for the PMDG?
3.4.6.0321 is the only version that works with SU12.
