Safe mode should disable 3rd party marketplace addons. Failing that you should try resetting MSFS, it literally took me ten minutes. Just remember to point to you package location when asked

When the game crashes, have you started the game in Safe Mode and tried that when it first loads?

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

no

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

in the provided crash dump, several 3rd party addons still present. I highly suspect one of them to be the culprit.

Try to launch the sim in safe mode (disables ALL 3rd party content) an see if it works again.

It used to work in safe mode…now it doesn’t.

Where would I go to reset it?

settings/apps - right click and select reset. If you have never moved your Packages folder from it’s default location I would advise you do so beforehand otherwise you will likely have to download everything again. Once reinstalling the sim the box at the bottom will ask for the new package location, simply click on it, browse to the folder your community and official are in and then select open. Instead of hundreds of GB’s then there’s only a few.

Thank you for the heads-up on this.

Where should I go to initiate the reset?
PC, MS Store, Win 11.

Thanks again!

EDIT- sorry! Just scrolled back and saw your directions!

Guys turnoff Image Scaling on NCP, and the issue will be solved.

For me also, about 20 % probability for a CTD after “Fly Now” since some weeks.

Same for me…

Some days are better than others…

Sometimes I have to try 10 times to load a flight.

Have you tried disabling Bing data in the options? I was getting 25% crashes at flight launch + CTDs when I zoomed on the map near Chicago.
Since I deactivated the bing data: no more CTD at launch or when zooming.
I think it’s worth a try before uninstalling everything.

It’s possible that it’s something else, obviously, but the zoom and CTD problem has been fairly recurrent since SU13. See this thread for zoom CTD : Sim crashes when zooming in at the worldmap

Just Had my first fly now CTD you know this is getting to be a bit of a joke.
oh and to the poster few above DO NOT uninstall everything it will make no difference

I attempted to fly in VR with my Quest 2, 32GB of RAM and a RTX 3090 a few days ago and today on the route EGPH/EDDF with the Fenix A320. Unfortunately after about 30 mins just after flying over Newcastle, I experienced a complete computer crash(not just ctd) My pc automatically restarted. Has anyone flown the same route and had the same problem. I just recently increased the resolution in the Open XR Toolkit, not sure if that may have caused it?

also had this happen to me today. Never had this happen before.
