After hours of investigating to find what maybe the cause of slight pause when flying near add on Airports i can confirm in my situation it is any 3rd party Airports that produces this bug with dx11 or dx12.
I have found with the default airports after hours of flying no problem with this bug.
Rtx 4090, FG on, TAA, Dx12, 32g Ram.
Hopefully this might help someone else may have this issue.
5800x3D, 3090, 535.98, both DX11 & DX12 with filters on and no problems (other than the long-standing DX12 tile issue. I donāt believe thatās driver related)
Occasionally my world map fps drops to 11 and says there but going out to the main menu then back to the world map solves it. Not sure if thatās driver related or not.
With nVidia driver 535.98 Iāve seen the return of the purple squares, which I believe I havenāt had for more than a year (possibly December 2021, with 497.09). Is anyone else suffering the same?
Concearning to bright image and ctd on ffreestyle filters you can mess with monitor setting saturation, gamma, brightness and colour etc settings as well on the monitor menus also its possible to set and select hz to use.
Concearning stutters i have noticed that sudden windshear when looking to the turncoordinator give large stutter also.
If these kick in at the same time with loading scenery and groundwinds than this imo could be related that graphicscard are not up to for this matter in the right way
Hi, i use the latest driver and iām happy. i did sinse release 7 flights, all around 2 hours and no GPU crash so far. i using Zotac RTX 3060 12Gb and I7 9700K on MSI Z390 Pro with 32Gb Crusial Mem. before i used 531.29 to fly allways without CPU CTD. all drivers after this was not good for me. 535.98 works good.
Thought it was finally time to update my driver from 528.49 to this driver (535.98) and it was a mistake. I had quite the stutter fest though my RTX 4080 ran at the same numbers and temps as usual. So I reverted back to my old completely stable and ancient 528.49 driver and things are smooth as silk again.
I used DDU and NVCleanInstall as per my usual driver update procedure. So I guess Iāll keep waiting and praying that someday soon Nvidia will produce another stable high quality driver set.
MSI 4090 / DX12-ULTRA / TAA with HAGS on = lockup with music playing on main menu.
Frame Gen = off
To test, enable GPU scheduling and leave sim in welcome screen, menu animations on. Leave it playing the welcome music and put the mouse pointer on one of the menu boxes so the animation keeps looping. Wait for about 1hr and it will freeze anywhere from 10 to 40 min with music still playing or even mouse clicks are audible. Kill with end task.
With HAGS off, no problems. So this issue still persists with all current drivers.
I thought I was being āgoodā and updated my driver to the latest Sunday. Major mistake. I had a smooth running system (I fly 100% in VR), and now it studders all over the place. Made the bigger mistake of not writing down which driver version I was running, so now I have to hunt and peck to the find the one that worked. 531.29 has similar studdering issues.
I have had nothing, but trouble after updating. I had a fairly smooth system before hand. I have rolled back and now still having very low fps, stutters and even my first CTD. I just tried the ānewestā driver and maybe a little improvement over garbage, but still nothing like I had and canāt seem to get back.
