I also have just had my first in-flight CTD with MSFS 2024, with the same reported faulting module (D3D12Core.dll, version: 10.0.26100.7309).
As was the case with MSFS 2020, when this happens after an hour or two of setup and flight, I have to force myself to take some deep breaths and walk away from this software for a while. I certainly hope this isn’t going to become a regular problem.
