All good on my end using an RTX 4090. Maxed out aside from Terrain LOD set to 350 and seeing great FPS (80+) and not coming across stuttering.

A lot of micro-freezes with this one for me.
I roll back to 610.47.

I also had the feeling that something was not quite right with this driver. I reverted to the hotfix driver.

All good here 6.10.88.

Still on 610.47, I always wait 2-3weeks.

Better wait on this one looks like, Have had fine performance lately.

How has the performance compared to 0.82 or 0.74? Which one do you recommend to stay with?

No problem here…610.88

My take on this driver is that it does nothing for me so for the moment I shall stay on .74.
The fixes are for software that I don’t have, so it can’t benefit me directly. Two of the fixes were in the hotfix. There has been nothing specifically for MSFS mentioned for some considerable time now and there is no changes related to DLSS.

Drivers are not the same as OS updates. Don’t get me wrong, if user experience says that a certain version gives you a few extra fps or seems extra smooth then I will install it, but at the moment I shall hold off installing it.

Drivers aren’t always about performance. They can fix security issues.

You are absolutely right about fixing security flaws which is why I am on .74 at the moment.

On the performance front when there is a definite performance benefit, I will upgrade. However, I have done some reading and it seems that at the moment the new releases seem to be about making some tweaks for new games that I don’t have, or intend to get, or for fixing issues with the RTX50 cards, which I don’t have.

So I choose not to upgrade automatically. It doesn’t mean that I won’t. If I hear talk on this forum that a version gives some benefit for MSFS then I upgrade.

I am not advocating that nobody should upgrade, I just state my reasons for choosing the policy I have.

Is that one working good for you?

The NVIDIA hotfix driver 610.82 that I linked above is working well for me. So far, I haven’t noticed any issues. Of course, I’m excluding the known problems mentioned in the changelog.

I’ll also add that I have always been against using DLSS, but since this hotfix version I have set DLSS Override to M Quality in the NVIDIA driver settings, and it works fine.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the ghosting on moving digits when the Fenix or PMDG aircraft are climbing quickly. However, I think I’ll probably get used to it.

We’ll make a convert of you yet! :slightly_smiling_face:

610.88 working great here. VR, Quest 3, 5090, DLSS_Quality M.

I seem to be getting black screen and crashes with this one.

No issues yet with this driver. So far so good.

Hello,

these recent drivers have an issue with HTC Vive, the display gets no image, just black. Last functional driver for me is 581.80.
Somebody knows a fix for it? I could not find any…
