GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 616.86 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 616.64.

This hotfix addresses the following:

  • Intermittent flicker may be observed in browsers when navigating to certain websites [6673430]
  • Fixed an issue where virtual displays could not be created after updating to driver 616.56 [6674464]
  • Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions may display a black screen after updating to driver 616.56 [6687328]

MSFS2024 still does not load for me with this driver.

Test flight without any issue with this hotfix (MSFS2024, PC config)

Is it necessary to install driver 616.64 first, or can the hotfix be installed directly over a previous driver?

It’s called a ‘hotfix’ but it is the full package. Just install as normal.

I have the same issue which is weird for me I encounter the freeze when GSX is installed but when removed I dont have the issue, I have installed the Hotfix but I am not sure what is causing the issue for me still.

Could it really be GSX? I have the driver 616.84 installed.

To add further context, I am able to launch the Simulator, select the airport and then proceed with loading into the scenario/flight. When that happens and I get the Fly Now Yellow page, I sometimes get a freeze and sometimes not, my observation is when the latter happens is when GSX is not installed.

This new version works fine for me.

But i don’t know why version 616.56, 616.64 and 616.866 don’t work.
