We will be hosting an Official Fly-in alongside a group of community members (you!) on Twitch. This is an open event, free to all who would like to fly along with us and available to pilots of all skill levels. Hosted by @SeedyL3205, @Pieter2427, and @FlightsWJoel

2025-03-14T18:00:00Z
Where: The Official Twitch Channel of MSFS

There will also be a Discord event channel open for those who want to voice chat with other members of the community.

Please see below for details on the upcoming Fly-In Event:

FLIGHT DETAILS

Note: the start time of this Fly-In will be immediately following the Developer Livestream scheduled to start at 9:30am PDT (1630 UTC).

Earlier this week we released the long-awaited World Update XIX: Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana! To celebrate the launch, we polled our followers on our official Instagram account to ask for the community to pick from two flight plans over Brazil :brazil: for our Fly-In this week. The first option was a flight along the Amazon River from Manaus to Santarém. The second option was a flight between Brazil’s two largest cities, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. By the absolute narrowest possible margin, the Amazon River flight won by a mere nine (9!!!) votes with over 5,000 total votes cast!

Given the extremely close voting in this poll, we have decided we will ALSO do the SĂŁo Paulo and Rio de Janeiro during one of our Fly-Ins next month! :brazil:

For the best experience, all pilots should download the FREE World Update XIX: Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana from the in-sim Marketplace.

MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:
2025-03-14 Amazon River.PLN (3.5 KB)

MSFS 2024 Pilots on both PC and Xbox can import the flight plan from the new Flight Planner tool at this link.

You can find instructions on how to load a flight plan from the Flight Planner website to your in-sim EFB on your PC or Xbox console on our forums here.

We will be starting at SBEG. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

Keen to join. Will be a good opportunity to check out the world update but won’t make 1800z. More likely 1900z for me. Im sure there will still be people flying about though. Think ill give the Hawk T1 an outing.

Had to use sim rate to keep up a few times but it was another enjoyable fly-in!

How appropriate with the IFT F-4 announcement, and all the pirate talk, that I decided to take the Jolly Rogers F-14 out for a spin.

Maybe even more appropriate that I ran into this little real-life traffic generated number:

Seedy getting a multi-generation fighter escort.

Too close for missiles… had to do it!
