LET’S FLY

This is meant to be a fun and informal flight. Everybody is welcome, no matter your platform, sim version, or level of experience.

Strange … normally believe these times match.

Hmmm…sometimes the forum software has difficulties with converting the start time to your local time zone, especially around the time when there is a switch to/from Daylight Saving Time, but that shouldn’t happen until November.

In any case, the start time is the same as always and is the one shown in the banner image: 1800 UTC.

Week before i noticed same in post

You’re right … appears the time mis-match started last week. Before that seems to match.

Yep after a long time away I was going to join last week, but popped in half way through.

That’s a new record for me. 12 airports visited during a community flight (11 active, 1 closed).

I didn’t pay enough attention when approaching the final stop and almost flew through SeedyL. I was on the brink of stalling out but still landed it smooth (enough) and I think I avoided blocking his view (maybe).

Was somhow too slow with the Xcub and bushwheels, so changed aircraft several times. So were a bit late in the end.
Also had a lot more other players in SU4 beta this time. But had to get really close (2nm) to see them and their nameplates.

As usual a fun community flight! I enjoyed the views of the Chilean mountains. Unfortunately my PC crashed towards the end (not because of the Sim) so I could not take part in the final landing.

Last week I couldn’t get any traffic to show up in the Beta, and quit the event. This week everything worked fine except for the low nameplate view distance.

Watching @IceManDBB change aircraft:

But not noticing for an eternity…

…that he was flying with me! Sorry for the wobbling around!

Beautiful sights the entire way:

I present to you the work of true professionals! To think that I almost blocked @RockingEinar‘s parking position! But thank heavens I saw him in time, so I could park my wrong chopper elsewhere.

Not my work, I only took the pictures:

This one really impressed me with the sceneary.. at least with the afternoon and “few clouds” settings

Shotout to @JimOxide @Groversaurus and @NZBattleYak for tolerating my attempts ar formation for a while.. also to the Raptor guy zooming arround (Corvus, cant find specific name in forum as there are 5 or 6) apreciated for this time lack of @Edorin5981 and @HeXtHeLeGeNd318 in their crazy flying machines
