FLIGHT DETAILS

FlightSimExpo 2025, North America’s largest gathering of flight sim enthusiasts, is taking place this weekend in Providence, Rhode Island! While the MSFS team will not be present this year because we’re hard at work delivering MSFS 2024 SU3 and MSFS (2020) SU16, we wish everyone who will be attending safe travels and an enjoyable weekend with fellow members of the flight sim community!

To celebrate the event, our Fly-In Friday destination this week will be a southbound journey along coastal New England, starting in Bangor and ending in Providence, site of FSExpo 2025. While en route, we will also make touch & go landings at Portland, Boston, and Cape Cod.

MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:
2025-06-27 FSExpo Flight to Providence.PLN (2.7 KB)

Hi folks,

We’ll be starting slightly late tonight because I unfortunately have a meeting that I can’t miss, but the stream will still be happening! Please standby a bit after the scheduled start time!

Thanks,
SeedyL

That was a fun community flight! I enjoyed flying the Piper PA-28, and the details shown of the Flight Sim Expo in avator mode looked amazing.

Started with the Kodiak but got bored, so changed to something more fun at the first touch and go. Had some problems setting up the flightplan in the efb, so had to catch up.

Catched up over Boston

Some of those ship names

An unconveniently placed church

On final my controllers disconnected and reconnected just fast enough (couple seconds) so I could prevent a crash

Somehow today felt somwhat off, as some things just did’t went right.
