When: Friday, March 11 @ 2000Z for two hours.
Where: The Official Twitch Channel of MSFS

There will also be a Discord event channel open for those who want to voice chat with other members of the community.

Please see below for details on the upcoming Fly-In Event:

For many of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere where it’s currently winter, we yearn to get away to somewhere warm and tropical. Join our community fly-in this week as we island-hop across sunny Hawaii! En route, we’ll visit landmarks including the historic Dole Pineapple Plantation on O’ahu, Honolulu’s famous Waikiki Beach, Molokini (a partially submerged volcanic crater off the coast of Maui) and the Palapala Ho’omau Church, the final resting place of legendary aviator Charles Lindbergh. Our final destination is the town of Kona on the Big Island.

Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:

We will be starting at PHDH. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

Recommended aircraft: Pilatus PC-6 Porter, Cessna 172, CubCrafters X or NX Cub, Pipistrel Virus SW121, Flight Design CTSL, or any other plane of your choice that can cruise at around 120-130 knots.

Please adhere to the following settings so you can see everyone / be seen by everyone.

Server SE Asia
Multiplayer All Players
Live traffic As preferred
Weather Few Clouds
Time of Day Daytime

It is advised in this flight to turn off both aircraft collisions and terrain collisions. If you do crash, you can use “slew” mode to join the pack. If the pack will be too scattered before the first stop, we will use slew on a defined point to regroup.

To communicate with others, a voice channel on the "Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Discord” at https://discord.gg/msfs will be available to join.

This is meant to be a fun and informal flight. Everybody is welcome, no matter the amount of experience.

Will this actually be on the SE Asia server?

The last couple of times (without warning to those just flying without listening to the stream) the streamers moved to one of the EU servers.

I can’t speak for other times but this time it was on SE Asia.

A great tour to start to the weekend. Thanks all!

Hah, fun! I only wish I could change my username. But great first fly-in!

Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you’ll fly with us again in future weeks.

Have you tried Xbox ? Found it at Xbox Support.

I absolutely did. I’ll be there next week too.

@an3k Thanks! That did it.

@SeedyL3205 I will definitely do so if I’m not too tired from flying for real
