FLIGHT DETAILS

June 2nd is Italy’s Republic Day! To celebrate the holiday, our Community Fly-In Friday group flight this week will see us fly over beautiful Tuscan scenery as we visit several famous Italian cities including Bologna, Florence, and Pisa before our full-stop landing in Italy’s capital city of Rome.

Optional Marketplace Add-on: Simmers may choose to use the Pisa City Landmarks addon by developer IronSim and/or LIRA Rome-Ciampino International Airport by developer South Oak Co. These purchases are entirely optional and are not required to join this fly-in.

There are free airports for LIPE and LIRQ, both for 2020, but seem to work well in 24:

It was a fun flight! I straggled a bit behind and arrived a few minutes later at the final airport (and the sun had gone under by then in live weather).

It was a great flight with a great route, nice scenery right from the get-go. Also Forder should get hired by the Italian ministry of tourism, he is so passionate when he talks about his Italian experiences.

Just checking if the pope is at home.

Anyway, adding also video from the flight

There is even link to my Volanta, because SeedyL didnt believe i buttered all 3 landings

And one small note:
This weekend was an airshow in my country and DC-3 was flying there as well. And ■■■■, that sounds of the engines in real life - breathtaking

Hey now, I was just quoting a classic aviation adage!

“A grease-job landing is 50 percent luck. Two in a row are entirely luck. Three in a row and someone’s lying.”
