Please see below for details on the upcoming Fly-In Event:

FLIGHT DETAILS

July 14 is la fête nationale in France, commonly known as “Bastille Day” to English speakers. To celebrate France’s national holiday, our Community Fly-In Friday group flight this week will be a trip between that country’s two largest cities: Marseille and Paris.

One of the most popular Bastille Day festivities every year is a parade down Paris’s Champs-Élysées, so our group flight will include a fly over of this famous street and its iconic Arc de Triomphe.

Suggested Marketplace Add-on: We suggest flying the newly-released Carenado DO228 for this flight. Please note that this aircraft is recommended but is not required to participate in Community Fly-In Friday.

MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:
2026-07-17 Bastille Day.PLN (2.3 KB)

MSFS 2024 Pilots on PC, PS5, and Xbox can import the flight plan from the new Flight Planner tool at this link.

You can find instructions on how to load a flight plan from the Flight Planner website to your in-sim EFB on your PC or PS5/Xbox console on our forums here.

We will be starting at LFML. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

LFPB is already a bespoke airport with City Update 2.

Here are LFLL and LFLA, both work fine in 24:

As usual a fun community flight! Flying in France, I decided to ‘hop’ in the CRJ1000.

Nice flight last week, live time made us arrive just after sundown so Paris was already lit up. I chose the P-40F with the Free French livery for this occasion. Shoutout to @Dr01dh4ck3r for choosing the same plane and also to @DragonflyEDS who joined us in the Concorde, quite fitting for this fly-in.

Quite nice shots this week and nice sunset.

Shotout to @Dr01dh4ck3r and @TheHunDude P40s, @DragonflyEDS in a Concorde wich sadly didnt had the model. @Edorin5981 usual Pelican escort , @JpFlyingHigh in a Rhino wich for some reason rendered as a bonanza despite being an E model… @JudgedBug901129 in a Spitfire (no model of that either) @xXDJSkyhawkXx VisionJet, and @HeXtHeLeGeNd318 in his DarkStar
