[Official] Community Fly-In Friday: Lebanon

We will be hosting an Official Fly-in alongside a group of community members (you!) on Twitch. This is an open event, free to all who would like to fly along with us and available to pilots of all skill levels. The goal is to have a great time, explore new locations of the world, and make new friends. This event is open to pilots on both sim versions (MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024) and both the PC and Xbox platforms.

FLIGHT DETAILS

November 22 is Lebanon’s Independence Day! To mark the occasion, our group flight this week will see us visit this country on the the Mediterranean Sea, departing from the capital city of Beirut and making our way northbound up the coast. We will eventually cross the border into Türkiye for a full-stop landing at Adana.

MSFS 2024 Pilots on both PC and Xbox can import the flight plan from the new Flight Planner tool at this link.

You can find instructions on how to load a flight plan from the Flight Planner website to your in-sim EFB on your PC or Xbox console on our forums here.

We will be starting at OLBA. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

AIRCRAFT

Recommended aircraft: CubCrafters X or NX Cub, Cessna 172, Diamond DA40, or any aircraft of your choice with a cruise speed of 120+ knots.

Well that was some fun. Changing planes 2 times in a flight, and 2 of them almost never flown before.
Cause of the sales I now got the FW190 and Bf109 from flying iron. Was my first time using the Bf109 and only had 2 short flights with the 190.
Was also nice Formation training with @NickFlightX. As soon as they mentioned Independence Day, I thought the same thing, so switched quickly to the F18. I crashed the landing on the second touch and go and got thrown around a bit in my motion rig.

Funny how he changed aircraft types with the simplified model setting, is this some Alien camouflage :
