I got an DOF Reality H6. Was on the fence for a couple months, but pulled the trigger on Black Friday last year. It came just before christmas.
I suggest watching the build up videos and/or reading the building instructions for the rig you want to use before buying it.
Had some noise problems with it, but was able to fix them. Also don’t use the usb-cables it comes with, they’re rubbish. I used ones with a ferrit core attached, that solved some connection problems.
I use an active 5m USB3 extension cable from my pc to a 11 port usb hub on the side of the seat where the rig and all the controls are connected to. I can power each port on the hub with switches individually.
I was also worried about motion compensation in VR, but this practically a non-issue for me as your head position doesn’t move that much actually, as the rig has just around 17° on pitch and roll. That does not sound like much, but believe me, it’s more than enough.
You also might need to get creative on the mounting of the controls or other peripherals. They have a basic HOTAS attachment kit (cost extra), but that didn’t fit my purpose for the stick as I use an extension tube.
If I use a flight simulator in VR and the rig is off, it feels weird to me now, LOL.
