It looks like the pln file doesn’t work in 2020, I quickly made a copy based on the screenshot if anyone needs it.

I recently upgraded to a super ultrawide monitor (32:9) and this is one of my first flights with it. One hell of a way to jump into the deep end, absolutely gorgeos views every which way you look. I hope the screenshots come out alright/viewable for standard monitors as well!

Glad I equipped the all season tires on the Skywagon with the constant weather and geographical changes.

A great flight, beautiful scenery, and the combination of live weather and real daytime was particularly stunning on this occasion.

I usually fly the Bell 407 on Community Fly-Ins, but that isn’t always possible due to speed requirements. The few fixed-wing planes that I have controller setups for aren’t really suitable for group flying, and I have sometimes missed a Fly-In because it only occured to me 5 minutes before the event that I would need to (1.) configure a different plane, which (2.) I have zero experience flying.

This time, I managed to at least select a plane, and configure my controls, before the event started. However, there was no time to check it out even once in advance, so this flight today was my very first time ever flying the L-39 Albatros, which I chose because I was looking for something small, nimble, and fast - ideally fast enough to allow for little detours, and catching up with the crowd without too much of a strain.

That’s why I flew it like a drunken, rabid gibbon.

I had a blast - the L-39 is absolutely perfect for Fly-Ins, apart from the fact that the engine apparently requires no fuel flow at all to operate just fine.. (I may eventually figure out how to turn the engine off after parking.)

Made only a few screenshots, and only one of them is decent.

I haven’t been able to get the flight plans to load for the last few fly-ins. I msfs 2020.

Flying the group flight route the day later with the Bell407 with another departure (SCOH)

It was a great event on Friday, the scenery was nice, live weather was good and the turnout in 2020 is still going strong. Can’t wait for the pizza fly-in! :face_savoring_food: :pizza: :small_airplane:
