What is the current development status of turboprop modelling? The feedback snapshot used to have a line item for turboprops (with many votes) which was highly ranked. However, I note that it is no longer on the list. Does that mean that it is finished or no longer a priority? Anyone know the status of this?

I do wish they would stop posting those weekly numbers of how much Marketplace stuff is in development and announced etc. Those numbers have become completely meaningless - as with any app store the volume of content is not an indicator of quality.

If you’ve been following the Marketplace for a while you’ve seen it slowly fill up with more and more low quality, low effort shovelware.

It’s very nice there are 500 sceneries in development, but you just know it’s 450 “dreamsceneries” and “msfsscenerybuilders” and the like.

And it annoys me, because we all know the approvals process is slow as molasses: how many good third party addons were not released this week, because MS spent all their time testing another round of ‘livery packs” or “night enhanced”?

I find it frustrating, especially if you’re waiting for a particular addon and week after week it’s not there.

I know that castle (in the banner screenshot)! I drive past it every week, although it looks slightly more green right now

There has been one interesting change: The Famous Flier III moved forward (!) to August 18th (although the trailer did not…) This actually strengthens my belief in actually having two aircraft to consider buying after my holiday.

Totally agree… i bought all my scenery again outside of marketplace to get updates on time… biggest mistake i did to buy in the marketplace.

I don’t understand how you can go on calling these “development updates” when all they are is marketing material.

Well marketing is also business development, isn’t it? Besides we’re in the midst of a beta for SU10 ready for departure end of August, so that’s where the focus lies right now.
So dev updates come from the (third party) development departments, and often it’s new content and sometimes it’s WU or SU or future related.
If you would like to have them split up, maybe you could open a topic for this to harvest votes?

But… new and updated content in the marketplace is already developed, isnt it. So a development update should be something about things which are in development right now, e.g. something regarding msfs development… ^^
