Yes - the change is really subtle, but makes such a difference, if that isn’t a contradiction
WT G3000 works for me. Make sure MFD is selected - you can’t change the zoom (on the G3000) if PFD is selected (I’m in the TBM, so if you’re in something else it might be different)
Uninstall in windows, uninstall apps, then reinstall from the store.
I’ve done that - deleted and recreated a new one - is there a specific size I should use?
8Gb is the usual recommendation
about half zoomed in - my main issue is the small buildings no longer generate as they used to. I’m not sure if the large buildings have a different LOD setting but they appear way before the small buildings do
Sorry my bad, I meant the G1000
Uninstalling MS Store is grayed out though. Or do you mean you uninstalled MSFS?
No, this is new… at least to me. Only in SU5 the mouse started disappearing.
And no amount of clicking / alt-tabbing helped. Had to end the program and restart.
No probs - sorry don’t have that installed
Hi, may I ask have kept LOD at 2 or changed cfg file to higher LOD
That sounds like a hang/crash rather than the disappearing mouse issue
Very subtle, but a big difference. I do still like the bright clear cloudless sky. in VR though, it’s still washed out. We’ll still need that exposure/brightness slider for VR.
For those who don’t see the update in MS store. I solved it like this: just installed XBox App. I had no such app on my PC just had the XBox game companion. After I launched the XBox App - I got the update in MS Store.
No, because I could still click and see an exclamation mark pop up with a menu.
The mouse is half functional, just not visible.
However, I guess a lot of users would assume a freeze. It looks like it.
Zooming in won’t generate anything new - it just makes the same details you see from far away bigger. I opened a wishlist ages ago to get the zoom changed to actually zoom and add details to the scene.
Yes. Msfs uninstalled,
■■■■, was trying to avoid that. Does it have to download everything all over again?
