What possesses people to speak like this to others. Such arrogance and condescension. Say whatever you want as many times as you want. It does not make it true. I for one believe the game looks even worse in VR after todayâs hotfix and the game is no longer enjoyable. I will try better to adhere to your impeccably virtuous standards and thank you for letting me know just how awesome you are.

No. It doesnât as long as you dont touch anything else in any directories, and reinstall in exactly the same place you had it.

I actually found VR to be better after this fix. I have reverb G2. VR wonât be focused on until end of year anyway
color is better. still not as sharp as before SU5âŠsystem mem. and vram still capped. Hope by SU 6 we can get full use of our memory

Donât recommend changing cfg files anymore! Leave it now on default. I learned that the hard way. Fps was bad when I left LOD to 5 and 3. I am back to 2 and everything looks great and fluid againâŠbut I am still testing

Worked for me as well. Make sure to download the latest Xbox app.
I am back in Microsoft circular hell. I guess I donât understand what âPlease update Microsoft Flight Simulator in the Microsoft Store before launchingâ means.
I have now tried a number of ways to do this in the storeâŠclicked on the install the Flight Simulator Game logos and being told I already own the game and just click on the launch button etc.etc.
And I get back to where I startedâŠ
Thanks dowloaded not had time to fly as working all weekendâŠtypical. Still I am patient.
Thatâs the famed âpop inâ that everyone pretty much hates - it draws in and then the shadows etc render in after the fact. Hopefully can be improved with the update they plan in WU6

yep agreed. I can DEFINITELY see an improvement on terrain texture from flying at FL300 or higher. Much better.
So this happened to me, but I was trying to get into the Windows 11 Insider beta (the beta is currently borked, so I ended up NOT installing Windows 11) but all that to say, no update was showing in the Windows Store. I was worried I did something wrong and now my Windows Store was not ever going to show the MSFS update/patch.
I rebooted and 4 to 5 mins after, I had an update in the Store finally.
And performance in VR wasnât touched from what I saw. Such a bonus! Then again I was flying over a hick town in western michigan that has one traffic light and a party store. Lol

Unfortunately my sim (plain vanilla, no add-ons) is still CTD when I press âFly.â Sometimes it works after going back in but the last two times it CTD. A bit disappointing. My first flight didnât have a CTD and that was cool.
