There are still CTDs with a number of larger 3rd party airports. Also with specific developers.

Iām well aware thereās already DX12 in MSFS. But it is not even close to being optimized.
The first beta build was well optimized but had a few glitches which the Nvidia driver would correct.
DX12 was smooth as butter and was able to push TLOD high above 200 with ease with any airliner and still get 50+ stable smooth fps both on ground and air. And that was with TAA and DX12.
Greetings, In the absence then of Nvidia drivers for DX12 optimisations, presumably I can still use the GeForce upscaling utility without any ill effects with DX11 as usual. This has given flawless service and I would hate to see it messed up.
also found scenery add-on cause many of my CTD on both series S&X. fortunately for me i brought the only three i got when they were on sale. i can get the Las vegas city to work , but not the airport part. London and chicago have both been un-installed

What exactly does this do and is this something meant for lower end GPUās?
After messing about with Multiple Update of SU10 beta, and varying issues with those updates ā¦ what I intend to do is delete MSFS from my PC, and then do a clean install of the SU10 release package
Yes, time consuming, but the most reliable, and typically, far quicker than just doing the āReleaseā Update, and spending masses amounts of time, tracking down & correcting āUpdateā generated bugs.
PC does not need to sleep ā nor does it need constant watching as it re-installs MSFS ( even if one still has the watching DEFRAG obsession !! )

āso my PC can do its re-install overnight while I get a good nights sleep !!

To look for Win11 22H2 if it Isnāt in windows update by default go to -

I donāt know the technicalities, but by upscaling, one can then reduce the TLOD and other scenery sliders to gain more FPS, while enhancing the visuals.
Ooo this sounds like I wonāt have to reinstall everything if Iām on the beta!
DLSS 3 utilizes the new chips that comes with the 40 series GPU.
First time I joined the beta, but this is exactly what I do when an SU is available. Yes time consuming but works well.

The āgame readyā driver is the one we need to download which isnāt available yet.

You donāt have to leave. The beta is updated a last time (usually only some bytes) to the final. Then your status is set to āreleaseā automatically.
If youād leave now youād have to re-download the sim twice: Once for the downgrade to 9 and then for the upgrade to 10 again.
So: Just sit back and relax, nothing to do.

It was not available to me using Windows Update Check Updates. It did give me KB5017383 for installation. I installed it and then 22H2 was available. I have installed it and currently testing.

I have never experienced such problems, and from my perpective it would be a waste of time and electricity. The sim ārepairsā itself if some files are corrupt, probably with checksums.
I am in the beta. So how do I get the official update ? Can anyone explain the process please? Thanks
