Microsoft Flight Simulator Sixth Anniversary Circumnavigation Series
August 18, 2026 is a big milestone for Microsoft Flight Simulator! It’s the sixth anniversary of our initial launch back in 2020, and we have several exciting events planned for you to celebrate the occasion!
We are happy to share the first of these with you now: a multi-day global circumnavigation community group flight starting from Bordeaux (home of Asobo) and flying eastbound!

We have a great roster of special guest co-hosts joining us during each broadcast, and there will also be some absolutely fantastic flight sim hardware prize giveaways to lucky viewers during each broadcast courtesy of MOZA, Next Level Racing, Pimax, Tobii, and WINCTRL! A big thanks to each of these wonderful companies for their very generous prize donations!
You must be present in Twitch chat to win one of the hardware prizes, so be sure to tune in to the Twitch livestream and join the group flight with other sim pilots from the community as we fly around the world!
How to Join
If you wish to watch the event and enter into the prize draws, simply tune in to our official Twitch channel starting at 1800 UTC on each of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
If you would like to join our group flight, choose a fast aircraft such as the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet, Boom XB-1, Darkstar, or any other aircraft of your choice that is capable of supersonic flight.
Players on all platforms (PC, XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, XBOX Cloud Gaming, and Nvidia GeForce Now) and on both MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 are welcome to join the group flight.
