[OFFICIAL] Weekly Screenshot Challenge: Natural Ecosystems - Tropical Rainforest

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!

Last week’s winner from Movie Magic - @CalUKGR

This Week’s Challenge

We will be starting a new series we will scatter throughout these challenges when appropriate all about the worlds natural ecosystems! Your first ecosystem screenshot challenge - Tropical Rainforest. Take a screenshot flying around in this type of environment in the sim!

Quote from https://www.conserve-energy-future.com/:

The tropical rainforests are found near the equator, between the tropics. These are the regions that experience very high annual rainfall and are characterized by high average temperatures. The areas also have high humidity that is lower in the dry season compared to the wet seasons.

The tropical rainforest areas have extreme biodiversity and boost some of the most unique plant and animal species on the planet. Due to their location near the equator, they offer favorable conditions for survival. However, the soils in tropical rainforest ecosystems are poor in nutrients as they are not stored for very long in the soil.

What is meant by Rule #3, “Code of Conduct appropriate liveries”? Also, can we also display our own tail numbers?

Yeah , first entry

Hi @LK2PRGM,
Good question! The “Code of Conduct” appropriate livery would be any livery that would be inappropriate such as in images or wording. For example, there are some liveries (while true in history) of a naked woman (mostly found on military aircraft). This would be inappropriate for this forum. Or words/phrases.

You may use a custom tail number as long as those also do not fall outside the Code of Conduct; such as foul language.
