Ok, I had to do it... Where is "Self Loading Cargo" for MSFS?

There was a christmas message posted on 12/24 on the SLC website… but it was just to say that support may be delayed during the holidays. Approaching the second anniversary of the expected release date of 1.6 now… Sigh.

Also, this thread should be moved to the Utilities category.

Well, here we are in May, almost June and still radio silence after in March of last year the “imminent” release was coming. I mean surely it doesn’t take THIS long for this program? I mean look at the video in October of 2021. That looks pretty much complete or a total overhaul of the current 1.5 version. If he release it in its current state I think plenty of people including me would be ecstatic. The last “update” was March of this year giving condolences to a flight sim YouTuber who passed away. Anyone know of anything or does the dev not know the definition of IMMINET?

The offensive part is not just saying look I have up to the people who paid. He probably fears legal recourse :roll_eyes:.

Just forget SLC!
The developer has stopped the development of his program.
I have deleted my paid version, it’s bye bye SLC…!

Agreed - I was promised a version that worked with MSFS was close to development. That was years ago. He’s done a complete runner. If he just had the balls to admit it was over there might be a little respect for him, but no…

Same here, deleted SLC and took my loss.
Better luck next time.

Such a shame, too, because the previews of the update looked really nice. I always found SLC superior to PACX because you had to actually manage your passengers – feed them, get them good and liquored up, feed them again if the ride got bumpy and they were all upset…

They have not only done a runner, they are still advertising and selling it on their website! I’m not sure if that’s the right way to avoid legal issues.
A shame really, because it used to be nice immersive addon. But there are many alternatives these days.

The only real alternative I can find is PACX, but this was not updated long time, too
Maybe Luke Air Tool, but this is on hold as well.
Are there any other tools to use?

I been flying with SLC since it was launced and it has been my favorite cabin staff add on. Maybe better exist?

The projects for updating looked very nice. Other project dont have so much interaction druing the flight. Only welcome and cruise and landing message and that’s it…
A lot of other interaction is happening during flight which SLC covered. People could make their own recording… And that I enjoyed… English/Chinese, English/Arabic, English/Hebrew etc…

Hope everyone in the project is well. For me its the best out there of its kind… Or maybe I missed something…
Happy Summer

I’m confused! He posted on SLC website a Simbrief fix on 22nd February 2023 and on March something about the death of Matt Davies. So is this dead or not?

I do think this is dead, but if he is still posting about fixes that gets me confused!

v1.6 is apparently about to drop (a week or so away).

…and it looks incredible, IMO.

LMAO you beat me to it. I ran back to this thread after he FINALLLLLLLY posted an update. Looks like we are almost there boys!!!

I suuuuure hope he apologizes at a minimum in this video. Being 3 years late on this app while constantly saying it’s coming in weeks is in inexcusable, not without some type of acknowledgement that that’s messed up to do.

I went to look at the video and I see comments are turned off :sob:. I don’t get it, i understand that he’s afraid of everyone leaving bad comments but like… That’s your own fault dude. Hiding from public reaction to your own doing 1. Doesn’t make it go away and 2. Doesn’t make it better. At all. And sure if he apologized that’s not gonna stop the bad comments but it would at least start to help him recover his image. Smh, i guess this is why we have PR firms, bc some people have terrible public relations instincts.

“End of June or very early July”… lets see how that goes… I’d love to see it, but I’ll believe it when I see it. We’ve heard this all before.

Lol i didn’t even wanna go there but you’re right, next week might mean 2024 . This time I actually believe him, and of course I’m hyped at what I saw. But bro, don’t just address the 3 years you went missing with “im acutely aware that some of you have been waiting a long time”, that ain’t it bruh. When ppl fk up they apologize, normal ppl anyway .

He only want to sell his existing product.
He said the same two years ago and customers are still waiting for the release of Version 1.6 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well, we’re at the end of June… I guess he did give himself the first few days of July.
