In my area in SE Portugal especially in the Algarve, size as power from these powerlines/towers is quite some exaggerated versus to true live, to big sized indeed.
On my daily routine I can see this difference 2-6times daily, when driving by.
Solarpowerplants are very accurate, but are expanding very fast in my area with additional fields.
Must be very hard to catch up right by now, I do admit.
I see Orbx’s Global Power Lines had an update yesterday — is it any closer to Mamu’s now? The only criticism I have with Mamu’s is there doesn’t seem enough pylon model variation but I’ve not really had chance to check the entire globe yet. How many tower varieties are there in Mamu’s? Will new ones be added over time?

One of the difference with Orbx addon Is that mine has multiple pylon types at the same time
Orbx has 1 for high voltage and 1 for low voltage
Mine have
2 variations for 3 cables type
2 variations for 6 cable type
2 variations for 8 cable
1 for 9 cables
1 for 12 cables
Specific additional 6 and 3 cables type for some lines and voltages in USA,. Canada, Brasil and Australia
All the above at the same time just like in real life
(Always according to available OSM data )
And White Red pylons in airport areas + red white balls in guard cable where appropriate (landing zones, over valleys, over rivers, over major roads)
And the wires , yeah, that what you expect from a Powerlines addon

If you can provide me some specific locations I can try to figure out a rule
Powerlines are very strange and often region specific, so any input is welcome to enhance the product and your experience
I think just a couple more region-specific tower models would make your product perfect! I’m liking it. I don’t think Orbx’s has actual cables yet, despite the update?

Do these work in msfs 2024 career mode? I noticed most addons are not present in career.
Just bought MamuDesigns power lines after using the free version in MSFS 2020, very nice, adds some nice challenges when flying in the alps for example. I’m reticent to buy Orbx these days, I don’t find them very customer orientated, and some of their products that they claim is 2024 compatible such as the London scenery pack levels the industry estate east of EGLC.

They work in career mode! I had a airplane sprayer mission that turned out to be pretty difficult - large powerlines ran across the diagonal of the field

Any specific places you might want these?
I have discarded the idea because data is very poor on minor lines (missing lines, missing pylons)
And because they are so small there is little “buffer” from terrain (in order to solve elevation discrepancy from current my data and in game one)

It would be nice in the whole Czech Republic, but I would settle for the wide area around LKPA which is my home airport. There are some high tension poles in the original scenery, but only unsightly truss poles and not simple poles which is typical here… But they disappeared when using your add-on. I just like to fly GA at very low altitudes and enjoy the scenery below me.. mostly south of the airport:)
Orbx has high-voltage poles there, but unfortunately they couldn’t be set to simple poles, so they polluted the landscape with unsightly metal structures.
