Ever wanted to use both “FranceVFR” and MAMUs (Federico’s) Power Lines together?
If you find MAMU power lines better and want to get rid of FranceVFR pylones (the one without cables), here is the solution:
Go to e.g. “francevfr-airports-south-west-vfr” → “scenery” → look for “lib-vfrso-orvfr.BGL” and rename it to “lib-vfrso-orvfr.off” [“vfrso” might be different, if you have a different package]
South-West is just an generative example. You can use this with all FranceVFR products.

Do you know which file to change to turn off the ski lifts? I use Mamu’s pack for those too and they conflict.
Does FranceVFR have Ski-Lifts? I did’t know. I’ll investigate that.
Okay, I figured out, that ski lifts are part of “OBSTACLES & VFR LANDMARKS FRANCE V4 MSFS”. I don’t use this, as it’s dublicated by the regional packs like “VFR FRANCE SOUTH-EAST-RIVIERA MSFS” (except the ski lifts, which are not part of the regional packs). Thus, using the regional packs doesn’t lead to the ski lift problems.
But I can tell you how to identify the BGL, that you need to switch off.
- Turn on Dev-Mode
- Debug
- Debug model LODs
- In the pop out list, enable “Display name”
- Check “Display full name”
- Then, navigate in drone mode to the object, that’s doubled
- Note down the name of the BGL
- Go to the folder and rename it
