Since the release of MSFS, I have flown a lot with the FBW 320 to which I had added PACX for the cabin sounds.
It happened to me very often that during takeoffs at the time of ROTATE the flight crashed with the “You damaged your landing gear” popup.
I didn’t explain the cause of the problem because I always operated the joystick in the same way.
Later the Fenix 320 came out and to get to know it better and avoid problems I tried to fly it without using third party tools, in fact I never had any problems.
This afternoon, I reinstalled PACX after over a year of not using it.
I started take off with the FENIX and during ROTATE I got the error “You damaged your landing gear” with the premature end of the flight.
I tried again with FENIX in another airport and this error came up again during ROTATE.
Is it just a coincidence? I don’t believe it.
I would like to ask anyone who uses PACX if they have ever had problems like this, thanks.
I’ve been flying the FENIX exclusively lately and use PACX every flight.
I’ve never had that issue.
I did a PACX search on FENIX discord and there is nothing related to it either, given you have the issue with both variants of the A320, have you tried uninstalling / re-installing PACX? Or ensuring it is updated?
Does this happen at the same airport (maybe a scenery issue with a bump in the runway). Or are you exceeding gear speed on the ground
I’m just not sure how PACX can cause this is all.
Thank you, it also seems strange to me that PACX can cause this problem, but there can always be something unexpected.
I will do more tests on this in other airports, trying to figure out if by chance it was me who delayed ROTATE.
I read you had many times this message with the airbus. Bear in mind if you rotate too aggressively, for some reason you get the same “you damaged the landing gear”. Start with 3° pitch then increase it gradually until you reach 15°
