Thanks for your report. I’m checking to see if we already have a log of this issue in our internal system, if not I’ll make sure this gets feedback-logged!

Thank you for checking this. It’s one of those regressions that’s small enough to not be a priority, and therefore we risk having to live with, for a long time.

Edit: I see it’s logged as a bug now, though, so that’s good.

L-39C suffers the same problem with her instrument lights among many others.

there are only 2 files in the “Effects” folder with size “0”, empty files, there are no “*.cfg” file in this folder as well.

Since they’re reworking some of the lighting in SU3, it would makes sense for them to fix this issue at the same time. It also affects 3rd party aircraft. Here’s a Duke from Blacksquare as a comparison between FS2020 and FS2024.

I’ve noticed this issue in many 2020 ports of aircraft that are not yet 2024 native - I suspect that’s more to blame than anything in the core sim.

While that certainly plays a part, I think when first party native 2024 aircraft, like the C172, also suffers from this, I would define that as a core sim problem.

Fair point - when I had previously noticed the issue with the 172 I honestly thought zero light was coming out at the panels, I hadn’t until just now noticed the small amount of light that seems to match (or be similar to) the issue with 2020 aircraft.
