I use this for every flight, and I have no hardware or software changes. However, I’ve noticed after the mandatory update, this function no longer works. Was working for me two days ago, now doesn’t work anymore.

It would mean loosing the remapped key functionnality…
We should have a way to remap the command in MSFS 2024 like it’s done with the other items.
Not sure I am following, you can already remap that command in MSFS2024 isn’t it ?
I did not found any option in FS2024 to change the key binding to popup an instrument window… Have you foud it ?

For the french speaking people, it reads “NOUVEAU MODE FENÊTRE IU”, but it does actually not work (at least with C172 basic).
In fact that is the correct functionality but there is a known issue with the 172 Classic:
Avionics Pop Outs not functioning in C172 (Classic) MSFS 2024
Try with the cessna-172-skyhawk-g1000 to make it sure it works.
You are right : it works with G1000 version. Unfortunately, I need to use this feature to send the GNS530 window to an external Realsimgear device.
The way Asobo handles the testing of their product is pathetic…

Since the 172 Classic non functioning pop out bug has been confirmed by multiple people it would be good if we can get this tagged as “bug logged” and entered into the internal bug tracking system.
This affects many cockpit builders and users of GNS530 hardware avionics that like to fly the 172 steam gauge variant.
