Description of the issue:

Crewed Planes do not generate passive income in cargo company.

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Create Cargo Company
2. Earn money
3. Buy a second airplane ( C172 )
   4: Set one or both planes with crew
   5: Go do some other missions without your plane.

48 hours after setting crew on both planes - none have generated any passive income whatsoever.

Additionally - I moved my planes to locations where missions were available - they still do not generate passive income.

Am I the only one who noticed this issue - does no one else have multiple planes in career yet?

The passive income thing is going to be an issue - and MS has not provided any explanation for how the Passive Income feature is supposed to work.

Why have multiple planes in a company if they just sit there doing nothing?

Because there isnt any reason to keep a second C172 in hanger, I guess ill just sell it.

I’m having this issue too, I think you have to wait 24 hours to make passive income, I’ve heard of other people getting paid, Im waiting to see if my vision jet gets paid tomorrow morning

I bought a plane and started a second charter company. I wont be touching the plane there to test passive income again - we’ll find out in a couple days then I guess.

• I wanted to be sure 24H had passed before confirming. I just added a third company so I have two planes set to crew on. I doubt I’ll get income from either. The bug has got to be something with playing too much or something odd. It makes no sense that some people have it and others do not.

I’m having the issue as well. I’m experimenting at the moment to see if I can get it to work, will report back on what I find.

OK. after waiting it out I finally started generating some passive income - but the profits seems really low for planes operating in my company.

why can I fly and earn 150K, but that other cessna earns 20K? there isn’t a deduction anymore - where is the 90K MY company should be taking from it ( I don’t mind if the crew gets 20K )

Completely agree with the need to earn more as the company owner. The tables should turn!

My first experience with Passive “Income”

Purchase Cargo Company -10,000 Cr.
Purchase Cessna 172 Skyhawk. -233,910 Cr.
PASSIVE “INCOME”. +7,860 Cr.
Maintenance for Real…… -118,575 Cr.

The plane was purchased used but all green condition when I bought it. I never flew it myself. Was used twice “passively” and it needs maintenance on the flight controls, electrical systems, landing gear, hydraulic systems, engine…

I absolutely love the potential that the career mode has for this game and I am dreaming to play it when it’s completed.

When I had two planes in one company the other plane never made any money, not while I flew in freelancer or employee mode.
After I sold it, bought a second company it started to work.
Now for the second day in a row it made it’s passive income.
Maybe it doesn’t work when you got more than one plane in a company?
However we would really appreciate if Asobo explained this feature in detail.

The devs have told someone in zendesk that it generates income every 24H, resetting at 2400 UTC or 0100 UTC, that part was not clear. You should see the screen when logging in after this point.

It is supposedly generated by putting crew on, AND flying other planes in mission or freelance. The way it is worded seems to indicates it’s based on your flight hours in other planes, not the credits you earn.

Probably still broken but I’m just putting what the devs have said here. I still have yet to get any passive income.

It has happened since launch for me and everyone else with the issue. We have not been paid a single time.

4. Wait until the end of time.
5. See no passive income.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: still do not receive passive income from planes/crew being turned on. This is the 3rd day in a row that I have logged on after 10+ hours of not being in-game to find that my crew/planes didn’t generate any passive income.

Last night, I even made sure that before I logged off, I moved my planes to an airport with an active job for them. When I click Overview > Account History > Passive Incomes, it shows total passive income as 0 cr., total flights as 0, and total flight hours as 10 minutes. This has been the same amount for the past 3 days.

What do I need to do differently? I have 2 Cessna 172 planes and 2 companies—Flight Seeing and Cargo—both with crew set to on.

I do think this is still broken but the devs at least explained how it is supposed to work so I’m going to ask a question in the hopes that it will help this issue get seen.

Passive income is only generated if you have crew on a plane, do not use that plane, AND fly other planes in missions or freelance. Passive income is tied to your flight hours in other planes.

So are you flying other planes in mission and/or freelance that are not the plane set to crew on?

Yes of course when I am flying in the sim I usually fly the cargo routes with one of my C172. The other Flight Seeing company I have, has the crew set to on and is sitting in an airport with active Flight Seeing missions.

Should I also be seeing passive income from the Flight Seeing company while I am actively flying my other plane for the cargo company?

I am really more concerned about generating passive income while I am not activly flying in the sim during my off sim periods

I too had none passive income for 24 hours, about 3-4 hours of them I was flying other missions. However, I decided to stop using a crew, as someone told that the crew can damage the plane.
