Yours looks great. It’s about the same performance I get in VR but I have to put my detail down a bit with a 16 core 3.2ghz Mac Pro (it turbo-boost to 4.4ghz) and W6800X Radeon Pro 32GB graphics card (48GB ECC ram 2933mhz).
Unfortunately we are stuck without NVidia support thanks to the Apple -v- Nvidia cold-war. Because I can’t fit a separate PC I’m thinking of getting a second W6800X and using the Infinity Fabric Link and seeing how they go. Even if it doesn’t help FS2020, it might help for the work I do.
if I use 2D instead of VR I get 45-50fps normally.
I would love it if Apple would support the 4090 NVidia then I’d use it. As it stands a 4090 might only work in windows for me.
My old RX580 graphics cards used to sound like that (in another game). And they’d run at 75ºC! Crazy.
