Yes, that is correct.
Now after the latest patch, live weather will load for the first flight, but when I end it and load another flight, it’s back to clear skies, standard pressure, calm wind.
Clear skies and summer lands again, during around 60 min. of flight. Then came weather again. Anchorage Alaska.
Read four posts up, this is a known issue that is being looked into.
Live weather is totally broken. It was causing endless CTD’s for me.
I’m personally not turning it back on until there is a complete overhaul.
Regardless of it’s current state it can apparently ctd your game if it loses internet connectivity anyways.
I don’t feel like getting a CTD an hour into a flight even when it’s more stable in the future.
Game should’ve been developed for another 2-3 years imo
This seems to still be the case for me … It just started working again.
6 pm EST is 23:00 UTC. Interestingly it is also exactly midnight in France (and Belgium where I am located): so outage would be from 00:00 - 01:12.
Sucks because it’s around the time I usually fly

The good news is this daily outage seems to be fixed in the SU 8 beta. It should carry through the SU8 full release in just over a week.
