Who else agrees that we really need better and more detailed map data for these amazing places?
Iceland, the Lofoten Islands and Senja in Norway, and the Faroe Islands would be absolutely fantastic destinations for aerial sightseeing in MSFS. It would be great to have high-quality, up-to-date scenery and photogrammetry for these areas so we could properly explore and enjoy the landscapes from the air.
At the moment, much of Iceland still uses winter imagery, even though it is summer. The difference in scenery quality compared to areas with newer and more detailed data is quite noticeable.
I would love to do a proper aerial sightseeing tour of Iceland, Lofoten, Senja and the Faroe Islands. These places deserve better map data in MSFS!
