Hello,
Anyone aware of a source of physical laminated checklists as a sim product?
I know there are electronic/efb etc etc, I’d prefer the real pick up and point the finger version

Basically, each operator has their own personalized checklists. They make them themselves.
In the GA planes I flew IRL they’re often not even laminated. Just printouts. If it gets damaged, you just print a fresh one.

I just do it myself.
I just google for the Pilot Operatings Handbook (POH) if one isn’t provided and then print it. If you don’t want to print that much, get a secretary / office friend to do it, print shops are also cheap.
I then toss them into a binder, and label.
For the Checklist, again, if it comes with one, I print it and laminate it myself (they are cheap to buy). For smaller, older GA, there is a great site
They also have bigger stuff.
When you print it, it tuns into a little booklet that fits nicely on a knee board.
For the bigger stuff, I print out full pages, laminate, hole punch and toss a ring loop to keep it together.
There’s a user on flightsim.to JayDee who makes awesome checklists!
Here’s the Checklists links on flightsim.to
And here is a spreadsheet I keep of all my flightsim stuff, there’s a Documentation link to links of everything I use.
Thanks for the suggestions, I don’t have a printer so have downloaded and sent to an online print/encapsulation service some checklists for the 736.
First time in over 40 years of simming I’ve gone to that level of detail, first PMDG purchase too…
If I decide to go further I know where to look
I found that I tended to make too many changes to my checklists on a whim (adding notes as I learned things, removing notes once I got the hang of it, things like that). My solution was to get some high-quality thick glossy paper and print them out. I know you said you didn’t have a printer and your solution sounds good, but this might work for someone else.
I would suggest you buy an Actual Checklist from a Pilot Supply Shop.
Use it as a template for all your fixed wing GA aircraft as you write your own.
