Great stuff!! :tada: :it:

Has anyone figured out the keybind to disable nose wheel steering on the take off roll?

I use axis and ohs, but can’t find anything that will work

I think “SET NOSE WHEEL STEERING TO LIMIT” will cycle through the steering options.

Had been hoping to see it after the marketplace update last night (UTC) but not seeing it in the FS2024 content manager on Xbox. Anyone seeing it on there?

Its still broken

Nothing showing up!

For anyone having issues of it not appearing in 2024, I managed to get it to work by following these steps, I presume this is a bug.

  1. Open up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
  2. Find the P180 and delete it from 2020 library in game
  3. Keep Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Open
  4. Open Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 at the same time

A notification appears when 2024 started saying New Content Avaliable the P180 showed up. Not sure if the deletion is needed but keeping both sims open at the same time seems to cause it to transfer, no idea why.

One thought is when I bought the P180 from 2020 I didn’t actually keep the sim open for very long (As I don’t play 2020 anymore), maybe its possible that you need to keep 2020 open for a few minutes so it can upload the entilement to the servers?

Only other thing I can think is perhaps there is a bug if its installed in 2020? Or perhaps there is a bug with the sims communicating with eachother correctly and keeping them both open causes some cross communication.

No idea, but Asobo should probably investigate that.

Edit:
I shared my steps with others and it seems that its related to deletingt he P180 in 2020!?

@CasualClick would you be able to pass this weird bug onto Asobo?
Maybe worth pinning something in the Discord if this fixes it for everyone in there.

I wonder if the bug now is when you select it in the 2020 Marketplace and click Delete it forces the entilement to update on the server side, that would make sense.

Worked! Great tip. I didn’t have to delete the 180 form 2020 but keeping both sims running works.
PS. I wish same work-around would work for the T-7

Thanks so much for the answer.

That toggles through the modes, but I think I am after the bind for the red MSWS button, which disables the steering on the roll.

Does anyone have an idea of which VAR is used to control this?

Ive had both sims open for about 10 min and so far still nothing. Ill try again later.

Still not showing up in 2024 here despite the claims it’s fixed. Obviously more than one issue.

No joy here either. Can’t have both open the same time on Xbox so tried having 2020 open on xcloud but again can’t have them both open at the same time

not visible on my side eihter (PC - XBOX Store). :frowning:

A fellow Xbox driver just reported an Avanti flight over on the Performance Xbox Survey thread, check it out. I have been staying away from the MP/MyLibrary due to that EFB bug but may get over there later today for a look.

I flew it in FS2024 earlier today.
I don’t know if it has something to do with the region you`re in or anything, but it seems like there’s a lot of problems with this one.

Too bad MS had to postpone the marketplace release.

I’m on xbox s without beta
I live in Italy
I’ve already made 3 flights today
very nice, the EFB map doesn’t work but there isn’t a native plane 2024

hmm, doesn’t show as available in 2024 for me either.
tried the ‘both sims open, delete it in 2020’ workaround and also didn’t work. seems like still some issues to solve.
¯\__(ツ)_/¯

delete it in the 2024 community folder. this is a streamed aircraft since it a marketplace purchase.

Did the expected update (addressing the nosewheel smack-down) materialise this week?

Not yet. As per their Discord, they’ve delayed the update as the fix for the landing characteristics had some negative effects on other flight characteristics. They’re still working on it, and I’m looking forward to the results!
