Piaggio Trim

No autopilot in the Piaggio, so how well does it trim up for straight and level flight?

I enjoy long cross countries, so don’t want to fight too hard to fly it.

Thanks! :sunglasses: :+1:

I find it a very easy flyer, but im always hand on stick with whatever i fly. It is a very forgiving airplane , and doesnt take a whole lot of inputs one way or the other

For long cross-country’s it’s a pain. For me, it’s got a slight constant bank to the left.
Fortunately, it is set up for using autopilot. I use the Mobile Companion App to control the AP. The cool thing is you can use your phone to do it, so it doesn’t take screen space

It does not do that with a few degrees of right rudder trim.

Rudder trim doesn’t fix the roll for me.

Thanks for the info on the Mobile Companion App! I’ll look into it. Cheers! :+1:

I installed this bird a few days ago and I’m amazed…
Indeed, it lacks an autopilot, just like IRL but… trimming of both elevator and rudder is easy to do and yes, you’d have to keep an eye on the instruments and make some tiny corrections now and then but nothing that’s annoying imo.
