Pilatus PC-6 Transponder

Probably me, but I can’t figure out how to turn this on. I’ve tried every switch and button ; the radios and ADF and everything else is powered but not the Transponder.

I found a two year old bug which said it only turns up if you start on the runway but not if you start from cold. Is this fixed ?
