So I watched a YT video today of someone zipping around in the Cowansim 500e and they had… FEET! and LEGS! visible in vr cockpit view! How is this possible? what an immersion improvement THAT would be!!! Anybody have the scoop on this?
Don’t know that plane, but another I fly has options to have a visible pilot and or co-pilot.
May the one you saw has it too.
Yes it does increase the immersion a lot!
I fly the HPG Helis and they have the pilot, co-pilot and passengers.

I have the Cockspur Mustang which has a visible co pilot, it’s one of the features I really like about that particular addon, so much better than an empty seat. This should be a feature of all the sim aircraft I think.

Yeah, I did download the two mods, but I don’t see ANYTHING resembling “VR Headless Pilot Body v1.X.X.rar” or any of the other zip files in the description here. I’ll admit I’m not very computer savvy, but I’m just not seeing it anywhere. What did I do wrong? Can anyone who has successfully done this steer me through the process? I don’t enjoy being a body-less ghost while flying…
I did do it successfully about a year or longer ago, haven’t used it in ages though and have no idea how I did it, sorry. I just closely followed the instructions in the original post or on flightsim.to, can’t remember.
It’s pretty cool but “hand tracking” support (if that’s what you want to call it, where the virtual hand moves the controls) is extremely limited so I lost interest.
