Yes thanks, but the sim time I am referring to is in Career mode. Many people set a flight and then come home after work and earn +++ Cr. I am trying to find out how that is done because the method I have tried have not worked after viewing a couple of Utube vids.
Oh, you mean in 2024? Career mode is rather buggy, I’d expect time acceleration doesn’t quite work as well as it does in 2020. sigh another one of those aspects that worked just fine until Asobo put their hands on it. Has the A330 time accel problem (where the fuel usage and time of day don’t accelerate) been fixed, or have they been more focused on fixing small elevation issues in Timbuktu?
Sorry, I have no idea I do not fly that yet. I hope someone else can answer your question.
You’re good, I meant they often put smaller things as a higher priority rather than fix what really is important. I do hope they decide to fix time accel soon.
Other sims do have wheel smoke!
One day in MSFS I hope!

MSFS 2024 does have the ability to simulate various effects including wheel effects, but obviously requires the aircraft designers to incorporate them into the aircraft model.
For examples, see the SDK:

Maui bound in MSFS 2024 SU2!
Getting ready to depart San Fran in the PMDG 777-200er. UAL 1630 KSFO-PHOG.
The dark clouds cleared off and we got nice views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate and the Bay area on the way out.
Out over the Pacific, just a few miles east of the point of no return.
We just managed to beat the rain, but the trades are up and it was a bumpy, windy approach.
Journey’s end for this flight crew. MSFS 2024 SU2 performed flawlessly.
I haven’t touched Career mode for a few months now, but it seems like there is no improvement there… It’s really annoying to get points docked for the sim’s own shortcomings. At this point I’ve just gone back to do free flights as before.
Yeah, it’s buggy, however, i seem to be reading that there is a lot in SU3 to like so looking forward to that. Just be aware that the prices of planes keep going up in career. VIP planes had a jump so you might want to think about buying some in a company.
And now there’s even a wishlist item for MORE bugs!
I’m flying, again! It’s the A350, wow. It loaded!!! Still wondering what the glitch was, but I’m up.
With the top rated aircraft sale on, I couldn’t resist adding one to my hangar… the DC Designs Stearman. I do love a good biplane!
It took me three attempts to taxi from the parking area to the runway due to the very savage brakes on this thing. After a couple of propeller plants, I got the hang of it. Takeoff and landing are weirdly similar to that of a Spitfire in how it handles. I foresee a lot of VFR fun to be had in this plane.
I’m flying again again in the A350, fantastic. This time into KOKC, feels great flying.
Well for some reason my ram got reset to standard jedec. Unsure when this happened and since I don’t monitor anything but temps, alas I reenabled XMP. 24 is so smooth for me now.
Also applied a slight over clock to the 5080 and yeah. After weeks of dreading turning the sim on and not getting a smooth experience in the Fenix, well I’m back! Thankfully the Cows lineup provided me plenty of great flying over my Fenix lull.
Anyways, I’m Jacobes and thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Happy Flying Y’all!
Edit Smooth as long as I’m not at a Gaya airport haha!

Took a day off!
It’s insane how MSFS turns the migtiest hardwer into “barely coping”
Reinstalling 2020! Excited to go back to the old girl, hope she fits like an old shoe.
I might take a look at it tomorrow, I haven’t found a plane that I’m sold on yet other than the CJ Simulations Eurofighter but I’m not using it on these trips as it’s all about taking in the views, it goes a bit too fast for that
