Pilot's lounge - What did you do in MSFS today?

I highly recommend Waiting for the flight fx erj 145 for a small little jet

Im aware of that one, but I am waiting for the flight fx one because it I mainly want to use fs2024 over fs2020 and I’ve been trying to stick with fs2024 stuff (Mainly because of what happened on how the online support of Forzza 2 was treated)

Aah, Ok, just wondered if you had missed it. I agree with waiting for the MS24 one, hopefully it is fully compatible with the SDK and works a treat.

While looking for somewhere to test something out I found this quite by accident.

That’s a lovely looking airplane :+1:

Today, I’ve practiced how to stutter land in career mode, nothing special :joy:

I’m not aware of other business jets having similar issues. I regularly use the Longitude, Vision Jet and did some PC24 flights when I was still messing around with career mode. None of them had such problems.

Unfortunately I don’t think Marwin will deal with the issue. As much as I like my FFX planes, all of their work is focused on their current projects. Before FS24 launched they stated that the payware SF50 and HDJT will be updated, but it has been 8 months and still nothing, so I don’t really believe that’s going to happen.

Found a good price on this Gen5 T705 2TB (€211). I’m launching MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 so many times as an amateur scenery developper, that any seconds that I could save worth it  Ok, I’m also geek and want to experiment all the “new” stuff.

Day two of flying through the default fs fleet my observations were, 737 max 8, a330, and a321 were the most detailed default aircraft, my observations while doing it are is that we are just missing these type of aircraft, a default regional jetliner, an md80-717 style Aircraft, the 787 is good but a default 757- 767 not fully modern Boeing aircraft is still needed for cargo ops in career mode, a a220 is definitely missing, and a dash 8 100- 200 is missing even though we got a ok default Saab 340B because they still utilize the dash 8 100-200 more than the 340B for missing types flying default airliners, helicopters and GA nailed aircraft style and year type though we just need an Sikorsky s58 to complete the helicopter lineup (was never an ultralight person or glider person to know the years)

Is that a raw screenshot from the sim, or was there any post processing involved? It looks like a RL shot

It’s Tomorrowland Weekend. Had to fly the Beeline Tomorrowland Livery from Geneva to Brussels in honour of Tomorrowland!

I haven’t had the chance to try it, but watched some of this livestream of V1 and he said it absolutely does fly well.

I’m inclined to believe him, but I also can’t wait to try it myself.

Yup he is impressed. I love it - a definite buy for me in a few days.

Today, I worked on my upcoming scenery project!

Worked more on the interior, modelling, texturing and exporting objects and setting LODs and testing.. can’t remember the last time I done a proper A-B flight

I guess that would be the gears rolling over reflective stripes in the tarmac.

Flew in a Cessna Citation X from Georgetown Delaware KGED to O’Hare in Chicago KORD.

What a blast!
