I’m hoping someone has experienced this before and knows what to do before I create a bug report.
On my first time flying in Japan in MSFS 2024. I noticed that many building in the city have pink textures.
I’ve been trying to figure this out but to no success.
I’ve removed my Community Folder,
Reset my Rolling Cache
Uninstalled all Japan related content, 3rd Party Airports as well as World Update 1 Japan.
It really does look like an internal sim issue,
Sorry but most of those posts are old so I don’t know how reverent they are now. When I was seeing pink textures in Tokyo it was a Shanghai scenery add on causing it and that was resolved a long time ago. 
I am not experiencing this at all.
Do you have any 3rd party scenery or airport addons in your library? If so disable them one by one and see if any of those are causing a conflict.
By the way I am on SU3 Beta so maybe what you are seeing is resolved in this beta. SU3 has a target release date of July 7th. It might be delayed or might come sooner.

EDIT: No uninstalling Shanghai didn’t work for me. The only thing that corrects the problem is installing Tokyo Landmarks by SamScene3D
I thought the conflict with Shanghai City Times was resolved a long time ago.
I too have Tokyo Landmarks, and I disabled it, loaded into Tokyo, and didn’t see any pink textures. But once I restarted the sim with it disabled, this is what I’m seeing.
But if I also disable Shanghai City Times there are no pink textures.
It’s funny when all this time I thought the issue with Shanghai City Times was resolved when in fact Tokyo Landmarks is making the pink textures go away.

Thanks at least for confirming that it’s not just me. You know that I just love spending 35 mins troubleshooting problems that are impossible to fix.
The previous thread is already marked as Bug-Logged, so I’ll just add my comments to that. However I am concerned that it’s almost 9 months old and still hasn’t been resolved.
Actually that thread is Feedback-Logged and not Bug-Logged and has been around since 2024 was released.
But there is also the issue with these being 3rd. party sceneries. The problem on my end is Shanghai City Times causing the pink textures.
I am curious since you have Tokyo Landmarks why not leave it enabled since that fixes the problem?
So you are saying that you only experience this with the Shanghai scenery enabled?
Well I had the Tokyo scenery enabled, until I spawned into RJTT with the Flybywire A380X and I was getting a lot of studder and GPU Low Memory errors. So in an attempt to improve performance. I disabled traffic and the surrounding Tokyo scenery. And thats when I first noticed the problem.
The Tokyo scenery is the only solution for now, but we shouldn’t have to rely on 3rd Party scenery just to get the sim to work right.

I understand now you have an issue with performance when using Tokyo Landmarks. I haven’t noticed any performance problems but then I fly mostly GA aircraft. But I have the FBW 380 and think its good. I also have Saltys 747.
I totally agree we shouldn’t rely on 3rd party scenery for corrections. But the issue with 3rd party addons is Asobo generally won’t correct their issues unless the 3rd party developer reports bugs in the Asobo dev forum. So we might be stuck with this for a while.
