Pixelated and grainy clouds are back starting with 1.14.5.0

Maybe some details on monitor and screen resolution, DLSS, etc settings?

I use x3 4K TV TCL c725 series
I use multi monitor option with DLSS quality mode
High settings by default

My specs 5600x 3080 10Go and 32gb ram

I’ve noticed an increase in ‘grainy clouds’ too lately. I’m pretty sure they are working on ‘cloud morphology’ behind the scenes and so while they work on other layers, we’re getting more of what we already had in the sim.
It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.

So you’re driving 3 monitors/LED TV’s at full 4k resolution (3840 x 2160)? That’s a lot of pixels, even with DLSS.

Ultra settings with DX12 here. The bottoms of the clouds are pixilated using DLSS but fine using TAA. DLSS has a view other anomalies as well in some places, so probably needs a bit more refinement along with DX12 implementation.

Did you get this fixed? Literally exactly like mine were

Nope, i don’t understand

Brief description of the issue:

This problem has only been happening for a few weeks,
all outlines of moving shadows and reflections appear noisy and pixellated including the outlines of clouds and the clouds which often appear grainy.
I have tried many things, such as reinstalling last graphics drivers and resetting to default settings. But I don’t solve anything.
I did also a clean reinstall of Flight Simulator and Windows 11, but the graphics problem persists!
I tryed installed the Nvidia 517.48 drivers, as suggested, and manually changed the settings of the usercfg.opt file as suggested, (Sharpen 0, Fringe 0, Dirt 0, FilmGrain 0).
Unfortunately for me it didn’t work.
Always grainy clouds and reflected shadows with flickering pixelated edges, they persist!
I hope someone can help me and anyone with the same problem.
I attach some screenshots.

To me this suggests unsupported monitor/window sizes being used somewhere in your set-ups including overscanned or underscanned displays. Filtering/anti-aliasing is not always scalable.

any Filtering/anti-aliasing enabled within nvidia cp? or motion blur enabled within your fs settings?

Would using extended dual screens with different resolutions cause the problem?

Edit: I tried with single monitor and there is no difference

motion blur is off. I’ll check the nvidia cp later and let you know

I’d say that’s easier for you to test on your two than me on my single display
but I did get it once using a mis-typed screen resolution

I checked nvidia cp and it is managed by application

I think the cloud problem is related with ambient occlusion reflected shadows (you can see screenshot)
unfortunately i still can’t find any solution

I would say that it is also useless if no one officially intervenes to remedy. I’ve been writing emails to support for a week but it seems like they’re wandering in total darkness

Asobo doesn’t take us into consideration because we are still “few” users with this problem. At least that’s what I understood from the last support email reply.

Because it seems like a local problem and not a game problem. Nvidia settings, driver version, hardware, reshade, that kind of stuff.

I tried so many Nvidia driver versions, but when i decided to buy MSFS2020 few months ago the problem didn’t exist! I honestly feel cheated. This should be reported to the Consumer Protection Association.

The list I gave wasn’t limited to only video drivers.

You can try to report it, but it does work for the majority of users.
