Will we need to wait until the marketplace is open? Dude that will be 2025. I just want my sceneries back, surely they dont cause any crashes. I PAID FOR THEM! 3rd party platforms are already supporting 2024 while the game itself doesnt. msfs-2020 msfs-2024
We’re not getting the marketplace until “early 2025”. You’ll just have to deal with it like the rest of us are.

Still the content we have from 2020 shall be made available next week if I remember correctly.

It’s a bit unclear, but I was under the impression that patch 3 will have a content manager allowing the choice to stream/store/disable (this much is for sure), and that the option to access your content would come back then (less clear about this) – what’s delayed until next year is the ability to directly buy new planes for 2024.
A side not: less clear is whether in the mean time you can buy planes within 2020’s marketplace and have them show up in 2024 (I haven’t tried this nor heard of anyone who has).

Yes, I think the 2025 marketplace is for new stuff, whereas the old 2020 stuff will, hopefully, be available from Tuesday or Thursday of next week.

Please see here, this is from the latest developer stream. The ability to disable or download your marketplace content shall come with Patch 3, which is due this Tuesday or Thursday. This implies (in my understanding) that the previously bought content (from 2020) will be made available this week. This is only my assumption though.
When launching 2024 they had made all previous content available and everything you owned was streamed by default. This was happening without the developers confirming that their stuff works for 2024, and this was probably one reason that there were many issues.
With the new option that patch 3 should bring, you will be able to disable addons which may not be compatible and/or are causing issues.
Also downloading will be possible, which should improve some of the streaming issues.

Here comes the patch, but unfortunately what MS has done is just adding a “disable” button to their already verified content. Those 3rd party addons aren’t changed:(
Some of my 2020 addons are not even in the content manager.
you need to wait till Marketplace is available, this was already communicated before the game launched. Theres no way around it. Otherwise, theres always MSFS where everything works just fine…
Just tried 2020, its awful, gave me a headache .
They said they would give us the option in patch 3, they said it was fixed.

No just something to do with older 2020 versions of planes that conflict with better 2024 ones.

Yeah for some reason vr in 2020 is way worse than 2024 now. Maybe because I changed some dlss settings in 2024.
