@Sonicviz has shown that it is possible (maybe difficult ?) to modify the UI.

I have to wonder how far that could go to design a decent PC UI, as opposed to the Current CLUNKY X-box interface .

My hats off to the dev(s) that implemented the current one, however non-optimal for PC it is.
I can understand the console first design being driven from above, the devs would have had no say in the matter, but from my graft surgery I’ve done so far it’s an impressive framework they built on top of Coherent GT. Would not have been an easy job, and I can understand why they went with a single UI.
I think it would be too risky to attempt a rewrite for PC specifically, though Modern UI guy tried.
At some point I suspect you’ll need access to the Coherent GT layer to implement some things, and not having access to that could entail significant risk. While the Asobo devs are very responsive on the devforum I would also put something of this scale outside their remit to support.
I don’t know what their future plans are on that front, I guess we’ll see!
