The Microsoft, Gods, gave us the cloud, now the Microsoft, Gods have taken it away.
When their stupid servers are out it should automatically let me play off-line.. This is bull$hit !!!

Can anyone confirm steam didnāt have this problem? I was kicked out mid-game so Iām not sure if having steam would have made any difference.

So that was about a three hour outage going by some of the posts here. Not good, not terrible.

Hello @DrivableDart179, you may have already solved your issue but what others have said did not work for me. Instead, how I solved the issue was signing out and back into my Microsoft/Xbox account (Either works).

Same here.
After a complete download (>80 GB, annoying cost me hours) via xbox store and re-install (because switch to WIN11) everything worked fine over a month now. But since yesterday (06/27/2022) the annoying āplease insert MSFS Game discā reappeared. As I have not longer an internal DVD drive, I always have to connect an external drive, take my original game disc and have to do the verification. Under Win10 this process could be bypassed by using a Virtual Drive with a copy of disc1. But this trick no longer works under Win11. It is very annoying to connect external DD every time for startup MSFS.
Question: Why does it work without disc verification in the past month??
I contacted support, but received only an automatic response that they can not deal with startup problems. For me it seems that people from Xbox Store, Microsoft Store and Asobo do not work well together.
If anybody else had āinsert discā problem and solved it, it would be great to give me a hint.

I have the exact same problem, i have tried everything, i even bought it with a digital ownership, but nope still getting the insert disc ā ā ā ā again. Well at least i got a refund on thatā¦ Only possible solution looks to be cancelling my Game pass sub, and buy it from Steam. This is not the first time this happened to me, last time there was an update that resolved the problem, but this time it seems like we are left on our ownā¦ Bad bad really bad by Miscrosoft.

This issue finally appears to be resolved for me. Startup works great now.
Logging in MS Store did the trick for me, i also updated the Xbox app so it might be one of the 2 or both

Hey I have the same error message. I am getting this directly after switching out my CPU. I have tried to launch the game over 8 times but I just get the same result. I never get passed the loading screen.
I keep having this issue, I tried to reinstall the xbox app, logout the store, redownload the game, removed all mods, xbox status shows as online and no fix
I get it so often these days, together will all kind of xbox login problems on my PC. Over and over and overā¦ I have started to think that someone is try8ing to mess with my account. Not sure what do do reallyā¦ =/
