Logged out of xbox app, windows store, microsoft site and xbox site - then back in - restarted

It doesnāt give you an account - you use the same game account to login there that you use to login into the sim. In any case, if itās says Sign In in the upper right, it means youāre not logged in.

Thank you to everyone who has confirmed for me that theyāre still experiencing this post-troubleshooting steps. Weāre looking into this issue now, and I will provide an update when I can!

Sorry to add āone moreā but I just got the .21 beta update, now Iām getting this again (on Windows Store version)
Interesting to see my āMain Threadā activity while the āinsert Game Diskā screen is being displayed.
Might be normal. idk.
i cleaned out my %appdata%temp folder rebooted, updated to v 1.27.21.0 , rebooted now all goodā¦so far

You might want to log out of everything and try again, since the .21 update has dropped everywhere. It might start working for you now. Its possible the game was rejecting you because you were on a newer version before the servers were.
where is this folder precisely? Iāve tried signing out (of everything MS related), rebooting multiple times, still getting this error. Iām on Windows Store version (not Steam)

I deleted my files from:
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Temp
and Restart.
but it still shows āInsert Diskā
MS Store version.
Same hereā¦ this is getting annoying, wasted an hour on this.

Received the update. Installed. Same issue.
-tried deleting temp folder,
- tried deleting fs-base folder
- tried uninstalling and reinstalling xbox app, ms store,
- signed out of ms-store and xbox app,
- reset gaming services, xbox app, ms store
- ran sfc/scannow
- restarted and rebooted

Just noticed that my MS Store Icon for my Flight Simulator 2020 Deluxe has a download Icon next to it.
When I click it, it shows this screen like it is installing for the first time.
Is this why it is asking for a Game Disk?
Microsoft Flight Simulator has an āOpenā icon and says it was just updated, 1.27.21.0 .
MSFS Digital Ownership has an āOpenā icon.
Iām also experiencing this issue after updating the MS Store version from .18 to .21. Iāve tried a few potential solutions in this thread (clearing temporary files, signing out of the Xbox app, renaming community folder) with no success. I also received Gaming Services 6.69.8002.0 today.
Are many of you experiencing the insert disc screen?
