It would be really cool to have the sim now and then throw a random emergency at you (as an option of course) such as bird strike, engine or instrument failure, gear not coming down etc. with checklist and dialogue with ATC. There should also be a cancel emergency option just in case.
More advanced aircraft from 3rd parties do have those options. The PMDG 737 for example can fail almost all systems in many different ways.

What i personally like to see is that it could also be controlled from a second network pc in a different room so situations could be created this i would also like if weather could be controlled in this way.
This is a challenging feature to add though. You really need a well designed UI to allow the proper amount of customization without being too difficult. Some users may want more frequent emergencies because they have limited time to fly. But others may want a more realistic timeframe where unusual conditions are rare. So how do you even express those limits?
For now, we have third party developers exploring the possibilities, so I guess It might be best to let that play out and sometime in the future, MS will solidify it into a system.
