I just bought from MSFS Marketplace, the PMDG 737-800. It is really a great addition to my MSFS.
However, I just learned that the version from Marketplace ( as opposed to buying directly from PMDG ) has a very useful PMDG mouse behaviour disabled.
By this, you can spin knobs much more easily.
Can someone in MSFS executive ranks, put some pressure on your team to resolve this and give us an update, please.

Can you elaborate on what exactly isn’t working, or reference where you heard of this?
I’m not sure which feature you’re referring to, but by default if you hold the shift key while scrolling with the mouse wheel the selections are 3x faster. I’ve confirmed the PMDG (marketplace version too) does that. Makes it a lot easier to use the altitude selector or set the baro minimums.

The version of PMDG 737-800 comes with 2 files ( XML format I believe ) which with another change allows the mouse to rotate with a much easier action.
Instead of the default rotation, with PMDG, you hover over a knob and left click to go left and right click to go right. NO longer needing to find the exact spot to display those little arcs.
Well, the Market place version of the 737-800 does not supply those critical XML file while the version purchased directly from PMDG, does.
And, in case you are wondering, if you copy those files from the PMDG to Market version, they won’t work as some other internal change has been made.
That’s it. Too bad the Market version has been hobbled like this and I can’t get a refund.

The Marketplace version has those files encrypted (true of any other aircraft in Maketplace).
The behavior is the same but you can’t see those files because they are locked behind one of the .fsarchive files that comes with the package.
If you have issues with mouse behavior, you might have another package hijacking mouse behaviors across the entire sim, causing this issue.

Actually the behaviour is not the same between the PMDG and Marketplace versions.
But, there is good and bad with both so I am learning to live with the Marketplace mouse.

I am not having trouble with my mouse behavior, per se, just unable to change the behavior to what PMDG has offered for the aircraft.
You mentioned the feature for PMDG mouse operation (vs the MSFS mouse operation) and that the files were still present but just encrypted in the Marketplace version and locked behind one of the .fsarchive files that comes with the package.
If still present, how does one access these Marketplace .xml files to take advantage of the mouse operation feature which PMDG has provided since the steps involved in making the change over in function don’t match what PMDG has outlined in their instructions?
I am sorry, but that is not possible for the Marketplace version. BTW, we have dropped that system for new products btw and default to the standard mouse interface.
