Sorry, I have to put some things right here.
The airline is called Qatar, and they operate out Doha (Qatar). Not really surprising…
Furthermore many European airlines operate the A350: DLH, BAW, FIN, VIR, IBE, AFR, EVE, FBU, ITY, SAS, THY, WFL…

Thank you
I think in the sim i do not need that extra because i know i can always land at my planed destination (a bit unrealistic i know)
Simbrief calculates FINRES+ALTN and that i often has left in the tanks when landing.
Maybe i should remove the ALTN-fuel and add 15mins of extra in the sim to make it a bit more realistic?
Delta has a bunch and UAL has a bunch on order too.
It would be great if people would take the ProSim/Fenix/Airbus content to threads about those products.
Mr pmdg, if you can tell me if tomorrow the 12th they put the 800 on sale. Thank you
These 12 weeks they were talking about releasing the 737-800, we’re passed that by now. So what’s the delay? More time needed perhaps with several sales and marketing tactics to try and lure me into buying a version I don’t need?
Does no one actually read through the last day’s worth of posts at least before posting? We talked about this just yesterday. Scroll up. ![]()
Also, in the official pmdg forums they post a detailed update every 1-2 weeks so that is probably the best place to get current info on 737 releases (no registration/login required just to view).
The -700 comes with a freight variant and a business jet variant in addition to the standard passenger variant. I’m not sure if the -600 has either of those, I don’t own the 600.
700 comes with 3 variations.
600 just one.
I watch a lot of videos and live streams and no one every flies the BBJ or the cargo variants. The BBJ just has a different interior, I guess. Do they have different flight models from the passenger variants?
One thing that might sway me to the -700 is that it was actually flown by Southwest (I live in California and have flown SWA 737s a LOT) whereas SWA never flew the -600.
It still is flown a lot by Southwest, and will continue to be until the MAX’s eventually take over, but that’s not yet.
This was about two minutes ago - every one of these are 737-700’s, and every one of about two dozen of these I checked was a SWA flight, aside from the ones along the southern edge of Canada and a couple on the west coast of the US (WestJet).
Haha, true. My choice of tense was not the best.
Actually, now that I thought to do it, this is even better: I filtered for only SWA flights, and filtered out any reporting as on the ground. That means that on a random Thursday night in mid-August, there are still almost 200 SWA -700’s currently in the air.
Anyone here use Saitek - Flight Multi Panel with the 737?
I´m using without any software, its working but not well. The Knob if i turn too fast, works on the plane but shows a different number on the panel than on the plane for example. Just looking to make the best of it with the PMDG.
Anyone know why this is showing?
flightplan is inserted will all the correct information.

True, but they are not European ![]()
I belong to the people which never ever use fictional liveries. So I would take this into account for my decision. Which plane do/ did the airlines use, you will fly most likely?
In would honestly wait for the -800 now. Should be too far away and probably the most common variant in the skies.
You don’t need to do that. Like I said, we add extra fuel IRL all the time. We very rarely land with just FINRES+ALTN. Sometimes even the company is adding the extra. For example now due to the war in Ukraine and the military activity in the area they’re always giving us 20 minutes extra as ATC fuel. So if our Reserves (final + alternate) is 2.2t, we’re landing with 2.8t even if we load minimum. But like I said, in this season there are lots of departure slots, which means we’ll use the APU on the ground to keep the cabin cool and we’ll load fuel for that. When altn+finres is 2.2t it’s not rare to land with 3T, 3.5T or even more.
