The issue was I was looking at it on my iPad. For whatever reason, their mobile version of the website has no links to a data-only plan.

I opened Navigraph on my PC and it’s a text link right at the bottom of the subscribe page.

I suspect its part marketing. Theyd like everyone on ultimate. (Which I’d highly recommend anyway)

For sure. The chart access is invaluable.

That doesn’t explain the fact why a product cannot include some basic liveries like other products are doing. And why such liveries were removed from the DC6 package. And I know PMDG is not obligated to disclose those answers, but then customers are free to speculate. And I won’t gain anything from this because I am on PC. So i have no incentive to defend xbox users point of view here. But I am stating what I am seeing with my eyes, products like Seafront simulations vessels library, uk2000 airport library etc can be published for free in marketplace. Not sure if liveries are anything special in that regard that it must be a payware.

An interesting and true observation that I had forgotten about, but you are correct there. Why are rules different for 737 liveries indeed.

Maybe so other third parties can sell 737 livery packs?

But PMDG doesn’t allow that as I understand. It’s part of the terms and conditions. They had a whole ruckus about copyright and terms and conditioons when a user created a free cockpit weathered texture modification in flightsim.to. Later after a bit of customer uproar, they updated their policy about it and now as I understand, users may create and distribute texture mods as long as it’s FREE. But don’t take my word for it. I think I saw a post from someone PMDG official in an PMDG forum thread where they mentioned that they don’t allow thridparties to sell livery packs of their planes.

That may have been my post when I asked them to please find a way to provide the Xbox userbase full access to all their liveries.

I ended up in a dialog with Chris and indicated that liveries are available on the Marketplace for sale for other aircraft. That was when he said they don’t allow that for theirs.

Asobo are allowed to distribute free software via Marketplace even a full aircraft the Orbis flying eye hospital ? So I think there may be double standards afoot???!

You are correct I asked on the pmdg forum and was told it could be that they have reached the file limit

For all the complaints about CaptainSim’s planes with no flight deck, having a “plane” in the marketplace that isn’t even flyable was also bad. Thankfully it was just freeware folks could ignore.

I was talking more about it coming to Marketplace. I don’t know much about how it would work in the sim, but just saying partnership contracts can be very specific.

So while it’s available in PC users through other methods, it may never come to XBox because Microsoft couldn’t allow it to be sold via the Marketplace based on their agreement.

Hi all. Pulling my hair out with this one. I’m able to initiate pushback best kind as long as it’s straight back. If I want to turn 90 degrees either left or right, the tug will attempt to make the turn but the plane keeps going straight. The procedure will continue forever and not stop unless I intervene.

Again, the procedure works flawlessly if it’s just straight back.

Turn on the hydraulic pumps before pushback or the nose wheel can’t turn.

Perfect. Thanks.

Being able to change the pushback distance would be nice too, but I’m guessing that not a feature yet. Self drive is definitely the way to go I’ve discovered.

Need help with the 737-800 and the Xbox controller. If I try and set anything like the course direction, baro, altimeter etc the knobs just spin uncontrollably. The altimeter is initially set to 10000ft. If I attempt to change it, it goes down to zero and then the knob just keeps spinning. This is with the Xbox series X controller. Switches work ok, just anything I need to dial in doesn’t work. Has anyone else had this problem. Currently can’t fly this Plane.

I’ve not had the problem consistently but I did have it the other day with my elevator trim wheel, which just wouldn’t stop and ended up going to +100! Needless to say, the resulting stall was inevitable…

You can change pushback distance. That’s what “distance to taxi line” does.

I was watching a YT video on the 146 in Xbox yesterday. The Navigraph icon is on the EFB but doesn’t seem to work?
